BSc (Hons) Humanistic Counselling, MBACP

I am a BACP registered humanistic counsellor offering a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

My training at the Metanoia Institute — one of the UK's most respected counselling and psychotherapy training organisations — equipped me with a deep understanding of the humanistic tradition and an integrative approach to working with clients.

Whether you're navigating a life transition, seeking clarity on relationships or personal direction, or simply need support through a difficult time, I provide a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you are the expert on yourself.

I draw from an integrative range of modalities including Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Existential therapy, and Mindfulness practices to create a flexible, empathetic approach tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Warm and supportive therapeutic environment

You Are the Expert

I believe you are inherently motivated to fulfil your potential and internal needs. You know yourself better than anyone. My role is to facilitate your journey, not direct it. Together, we create a non-judgemental space where your experiences are honoured and explored.

Breaking the Broken-Record Loop

Many of us get stuck in cycles — patterns of thought, behaviour, or belief that no longer serve us. Through our work together, we gently identify these 'loops' and explore new ways of being in the present, moving from past trauma or anxiety into a healthier relationship with yourself.

An Integrative Approach

I draw from Person-Centred therapy (empathy, acceptance, genuineness), Gestalt (here-and-now awareness, Mindbody connection), Transactional Analysis (understanding relational patterns and 'games'), Existential therapy (meaning and responsibility), and Mindfulness practices. This flexibility allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.

A Safe, Empathic Relationship

Therapy is 'hard and slow work,' but it happens within an atmosphere of total trust. You won't be judged. You won't be rushed. You will be met with warmth, humour when appropriate, and authentic presence. Many clients describe our relationship as feeling like 'an old friend' — familiar, safe, and deeply supportive.
